What do you mean by secondary storage devices? What are its advantages

Those devices which are used to store data and are called secondary storage devices.The advantage of secondary storage devices is that it can store more data than the primary storage devices and are some of them are rewrittable.Primary storage devices cannot be used by the operator but can only be used by the computer.Some examples of secondary storage devices are CD,DVD,BLUE RAY DISK,ETC.
