"Secularism means the act or process of treating all the religions followed and practiced in a country with equality.

In India, many religions are followed which includes Hindu, Islam, Christianity, Sikhs, etc. Each religion differs in many ways but all are treated equally without giving prior importance to one alone.

In India, no one is either compelled to follow a religion or threatened to leave a religion. It is his/her wish to follow any religion as per his or her willing. According to Indian constitution, all the religions have equal rights to do their rituals."
