movement of molecules from higher to lower concentration through a semipermeable membrane it means that it is the membrane which do movement of molecules reverse osmosis is that osmosis which attain equilibrium

semi -permeable membrane is that the membrane only allows selectively. Reverse osmosis is that it moves from low concentration to higher concentration.this process can be used in preparation of salt.
