According to me,
Setting of plaster of Paris is that when mixed up with water to form gypsum .
REACTION :- CaSO4.1/2H2O + 1 ×1/2 H2O ---------> CaSO4.2H2O ( P.O.P ) .
when Gypsum heated up it gives back plaster of Paris.
