Hi friend ✨✨✨
Solid ice means dry ice ..Solid carbon dioxide is stored under high pressure .This is because on decreasing the pressure on solid carbon dioxide ,it gets converted directly into carbon dioxide gas.Ex --When a slab of dry ice is kept exposed in air ,then the pressure on it is reduced to normal atmospheric pressure,it's temperature rises ,and it starts changing into carbon dioxide gas. Solid carbon dioxide is a extremely cold substance.Since ,solid carbon dioxide directly changes into carbon dioxide gas ,and does not melt to produce a liquid ,it us called Dry ice. Dry ice can produce much lower temperature than that products by ordinary ice.
Hope it is helpful ✨✨✨✨

Hi friend,
Your answer:
Solid ice or cardice is the solid form of carbon dioxide (CO2).
CO2 is kept under low pressure to prevent the sublimation of its solid form into gaseous one.
Hope it helps!
