•SPEED.....
- It is the distance travelled by an object per unit time.
- Speed = Distance/time
- Its a scalar quantity i.e. has only magnitude.
•VELOCITY.....
- It is the displacement of an object per unit time.
- Velocity= displacement/time
- Its a vector quantity i.e. has both magnitude and direction.
• ACCELERATION....
- It is the rate of change of velocity per unit time.
- Acceleration= change in velocity/time
or
v-u/t
where v= final velocity
u= initial velocity
t= time taken
- Its a vector quantity...... whose unit is m\s²
