Balancing the need to use resources and also conserving them for future is called sustainable development...

In other words sustainable development means utilising resources in such a manner that only are the present requirements met but also the needs of the future generations are taken care of ...

Sustainable development is a need of an hour because the resources are unevenly distributed and we all are becoming infact have become dependent on resources, we are consuming our resources without thinking about the future generations...

A time might come when there will be no resources left to be use....
