The Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is a massive movement that seeks to create a Clean India. Cleanliness was very close to Mahatma Gandhi's heart.

"ONE STEP TOWARDS CLEANLINESS"
Swachh bharat abhiyan is a step towards clean india. This also called Clean India Mission. This was initiated by our beloved prime minister Shri. Narendra Modi. This is actually a campaign by the Government of India to clean the streets, and roads. The Swachh Bharat mission also make an initiative of establishing an accountable mechanism of monitoring latrine use. A clean India would be the best tribute India could pay to Mahatma Gandhi on his 150 birth anniversary in 2019- said by Narendra Modi and he launched the Swachh Bharat Mission in New Delhi on 2nd October, 2014.
