it is the position of metals according to their reaction.. i.e how violent they are when reacted with other metals or oxygen or acid or base ..
for example sodium potassium are 2 most reactive metals

it is the order of metals.the first ones react more than the lower ones.the metals above hydrogen in the activity series is more reactive than the metals below hydrogen.
