the topic given to them or giving their opinions on the behalf of their party. it is held after the main discussion in the parliament .

  • Basically, this term refers to the time period in the parliament of asking and answering questions related to the matter of public importance.
  • There are three types of questions asked and have different systems of answering those questions.
  1. Starred Questions :- In simple words, starred questions means the questions that are asked orally where they must give the answer just after that.
  2. Unstarred Questions :- It means the questions that are asked them in a written form which they must answer within 14 days.
  3. Short Notice Questions :- It means the questions that may be asked with a short notice that must be answered within 10 days, related to the matter of urgent importance.

Note :- A question must not ordinarily exceed 150 words.
