Dalit means a poor and low class person. Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar was also considered to be Dalit, but he wrote our constitution and it's accepted by full India. Dalits are considered to be dirty. It was considered that if Dalits go in temples, temples becomes impure(asudh). If Dalits drink water from the wells the well also become impure ( asudh).....
