The motion in which all the particles of a body move through the same distance in the same time is called translatory motion. There are two types of translatory motions: rectilinear motion; curvilinear motion.

Examples of translatory motion are: A running boy, moving bus, walking cat running train etc. Translatory motion is divided into rectilinear and curvilinear motion .

Hi @Diksha

About Translatory Motion

One example of translational motion is the the motion of a bullet fired from a gun.

An object has a rectilinear motion when it moves along a straight line.

Translational motion is the motion by which a body shifts from one point in space to another.
