Triploblastic organisms generally possess bilateral symmetry, which is where the clade Bilateria takes its name. Simpler animals qualified as diploblastic, such as cnidaria (which includes jellyfish, corals and hydra), possess two germ layers.

  • These animals are bilaterally symmetrical.
  • The animals have body cavity,called coelom.
  • They have true organs.Different organs are developed from 3 germ layers.
  • Ectoderm produce skin,hair,epidermis,brain, spinal cord.
  • Endoderm produces lung,liver,colon,stomach etc.
  • Mesoderm produces blood vessel,muscle,heart muscle etc.

Example-Molluscs, Arthropoda, Echinodermata (Invertebrate) and Vertebrates are triploblastic animal.
