Unfair election:

  • An unfair election is an incorrect means to gain vote majority which can be in the form of rigging or booth capturing.
  • In India, election campaigns are monitored by the quasi-judicial body, Election Commission of India.
  • A code of conduct is implemented to check unfair practices and to conduct fair elections within democratic interest.
  • A single vote is the voice of an individual which carries a deeper sense of what kind of government is expected.
