Living organism are made up of one or many cells. Organism made up of a single cell are called unicellular organism.
- Amoeba, paramicium, yeast and bacteria are the few examples of unicellular organism.
- The single cell of these organism behave like a complete organism.
- All the basic function of the living being like digestion, respiration, excretion and reproduction are performed by a single cell.
- Unicellular organism like a amoeba, paramecium reproduce Asexually.
FOR EXAMPLE :
Amoeba is unicellular oganism. It performs all the functions like taking food (ingestion), digestion, respiration, movement, growth and reproduction.
