Untouchability is in which some lower caste people are kept at a distance denied of social equality and made to suffer from some disabilities for their touch , is considered to be contaminating or polluting the higher caste people !!!!

Explanation:
1) In India, due to the dominance in caste system those people that belongs to scheduled caste or Dalit were considered as untouchables.
2) Untouchables were denied of any easy access in the society and were cornered as a minority.
3) Ill-treatment, social and verbal abuse were very common and hence untouchability was eradicated under the article 17 of Indian Constitution.
4) Dr. B.R Ambedkar himself belonged to a lower caste Dalit family and was discriminated throughout his childhood.
