water in the oceans evaporate due to the heat of the sun and changes into water vapours. these vapour then changes into crystals of ice and droplets of water. in due cource of time these small particles join and form clouds. after some time they become heavy and air cannot hold them then hey fall on earth's surface as rainfall or snowfall. this never ending process is described as water cycle.
