Waterlogging refers to the saturation of soil with water. Soil may be regarded as waterloggedwhen the water tableof the groundwateris too high to conveniently permit an anticipated activity, like agriculture. Crops need air to a greater or lesser depth in the soil.

water logging means the filling up of water in one place for eg. less porousness in the soil doesnt allow the water to seep down leading to water logging...... and in cities if drains are not cleaned or overflow water will be logged
