When water is not available in plenty it is known as water scarcity...Disasters like drought are the causes of water scarcity

As we are becoming more modern and industrial day by day we are constantly consuming different natural resources.This humongous consumption can fully deplete various resources in the near future.

Same applies for the water resources too.Because the total amount of our usable water is only 1% of the total water amount in the world.And the increasing consumption is depleting the water resources in a fast pace,this is causing lack of water resources which is also known as the water scarcity.

Major causes of water scarcity:

1) Increasing consumption of water for industrial and non-industrial usage.

2)The global warming is also a major reason behind the water scarcity in the hot climate regions.The increasing temperature due to the global warming is vaporizing the residual water bodies in these regions.
