The word” wholesaler” is derived from the word “Wholesale” that means sell good in large quantity or in bulk. According to S.E Thomas “A wholesaler is a trader who purchases goods in large quantities from manufacturer and resells them to retailers in small quantities”.

Wholesalers and their services

A wholesaler is an individual or firm that purchases countless merchandise from different makers or sellers, stockrooms them, and exchanges to retailers. Wholesalers selling different products in various lines are referred as merchants.

A wholesaler requires a permit to offer his item to the retailer, and his item will commonly not be accessible to the client at a similar cost with regards to the retailer. This is because the retailer makes its benefits by increasing the price they pay to a wholesaler.
