Voice: The voice of a verb describes the relationship between the action that the verb expresses and the participate identified by its argument like object, subject etc.
Active voice: When the subject is the agent of the action, the verb is in tha active voice.
Passive voice: When the subject is the target or undergoer of the action, the verb is said to be in the passive voice.
Some rules of Active and passive voice
Rule 1: The last word of any passive of a verb will be the first past perfect.
Rule 2: The object of the active voice is made the subject of the passive voice.
Rule 3: The passive voice must contain the third form of the main and finite verb.
Examples
Active: He writes a letter.
Passive: The letter is written by him.
Active: They are cheering the king.
Passive: The King is being cheered by them.
Active:They Hunter shot the tiger.
Passive:The tiger was shot by the Hunter.
Active: Pihu will teach the child.
Passive: The child will be taught by Pihu.
