What do you observe when a gas jar which appears empty is inverted over gas jar containing Bromine vapours. Name the phenomenon and define it

As we know gases are in free state and are moving in rapid motion inside the container. Same happens when air jar will be inverted to bromine vapour jar, the particles of air and bromine vapour will colloid each each other and get mixed with each other. This process is called Diffusion.

the gas jar which is empty contain air and when it is put over the bromine gases the particle of bromine gases spread evenly in both the container this is because diffusion the process of movement of particle from higher concentration to lower concentration
