what do you observe when an acid is added to a basic solution

when an acid is added to a basic solution it becomes salt solution and give water also

eg . h2so4+naoh --------- na2so4+ h20

when an acid is mixed with an basic solution then neutralization reaction takes place ,producing a salt along with water. eg :- NaoH + HCl = NaCl + H2O

Further, if the acid is added to the solution in proportion to it then they both balance each other gradually becoming neutral,neither acidic nor basic.
