It can be converted into anhydrouscopper sulphate when heated strongly. ... When water is added to white coloured anhydrous copper sulphate, its colour changes to blue, indicating that the blue coloured copper sulphatepentahydrate is regenerated. So, it is a reversible chemicalchange.

The observations are-
1)Ferrous oxide is formed
2)Acidic and poisonous gase like sulphur di oxide and sulphur tri oxide are formed.They have smell of rotten eggs.
