HEYAA FOLK,

In this experiment an insoluble metal oxide is reacted with a dilute acid to form a soluble salt . Copper oxide , a black solid, and colourless dilute sulfuric acid react to produce copper sulfate , giving a characteristic blue colour to the solution.
