Thanks for A2A , When ammonia is passed through an aq. solution of lead nitrate, chalky white precipitate of lead hydroxide is formed which is insoluble in excess of ammonia.

Answer: when ammonia reacts with aq.solution of lead nitrate then we observe a chalky white ppt of lead hydroxide  with the evolution of ammonium nitrate salt, which is insoluble in excess.
