When iron nail is dipped in Copper sulphate, it takes reaction between them and Copper sulphate changes its color from blue to light green. ... This could replace copper from CuSO4, and blue color and FeSO4 is in light green color. It will change its colors due to copper iron nails functions.

Answer:

When iron nails are added to copper sulphate solution, the iron (from iron nail) being higher in the reactivity series and more reactive than copper displaces it from its salt solution.Hence iron sulphate is formed and copper is deposited on the nail.

Fe + CuSo4 ---> FeSo4 + Cu
