(1) Acetic acid will remain colorless in phenolphthalein.

(2) Acetic acid will dissolve in distilled water forming a clear solution.

(3) Universal indicator gives orange colour of acetic acid.

(4) Sodium hydrogen carbonate will give brisk effervescence due to formation of CO2 gas.
