Answer:

(i) 2NaOH + ZnSO4 -------> Na2SO4 + Zn(OH)2

(ii)When chlorine water is exposed to sunlight, it losses its yellow colour. It forms odourless gas called Oxygen.

(iii)The solution usually turns blue because NH3 gas is basic. It dissolves into aqueous solution and forms the NH4+ ion.

(iv) H2SO4 + BaCl2 -------> BaSO4 + 2HCl

  1. NaOH + ZnSO4 ⇒ Na2SO4 + ZnOH
  2. When chlorine water is exposed to diffused sunlight, it evolves a colorless and odorless gas that is oxygen.
  3. Ammonia forms ammonium hydroxide and turns red litmus blue as it is alkaline in nature.
  4. When dilute sulfuric acid is added to barium chloride solution, barium sulfate is formed as a precipitate and hydrogen chloride is formed in aqueous solution.
