Qualities possessed by Androcles:
The quality possessed by Androcles was a kind-hearted and courageous man which is proven by the followed brief explanation of the story.
Androcles was a slave man who once left from his master and hidden into the forest. As he was looking for food, he went to the lion which is lying down suffering and moaning. At that time he was thinking of to escape from it, but then he realized that the lion did not attack him, so he head back to the lion to help him.
After getting near to the lion Androcles found the lion’s paw was swollen and bleeding, and he has seen a big thorn had stuck into it. He removed the thorn from the lion’s paw, who suddenly got up and licked the arms of Androcles like a pet dog.
At last, the lion brought Androcles to the cave, and fetched him meat for every day from where it lives. But Androcles and the lion were caught quickly, where they lived as slaves and food is not provided for many days.
The King and all his Judicature came to see the show, and the Androcles was standing out in the middle of the arena. When the lion was freed from his cave it quickly moved towards Androcles who was the victim. Soon the lion was identified as his friend, and fawned towards him by licking his hands like a pet animal.
All are surprised including the Emperor, then the Androcles explained the story to him. After, the slavery was forgiven and freed, and the lion was also freed to get into the forest.
