Answer:

Explanation:

Chandrayaan-2 is India's planned second mission to the moon, which is expected to launch in 2019. It is a follow-up mission from the Chandrayaan-1 mission that assisted in confirming the presence of water/hydroxyl on the moon in 2009. Chandrayaan-2 will launch from the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota, India, aboard a Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV) rocket.

According to the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), the new mission will consist of an orbiter, a lander and a rover. The orbiter will perform mapping from an altitude of 100 kilometers (62 miles), while the lander will make a soft landing on the surface and send out the rover.

here is your answer...

Chandrayaan-2 Moon-craft About this soundpronunciation (help·info)) is India's second lunar exploration mission after Chandrayaan-1. Developed by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO),[ the mission is planned to be launched to the Moon by a Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle Mark III (GSLV Mk III). It includes a lunar orbiter, lander and rover, all developed indigenously. The main scientific objective is to map the location and abundance of lunar water.

Chandrayaan-2 will attempt a soft landing of a lander and rover in a high plain between two craters, Manzinus C and Simpelius N, at a latitude of about 70° south. The wheeled rover will move on the lunar surface and will perform on-site chemical analysis. It can relay data to Earth through the Chandrayaan-2 orbiter and lander, which will fly on the same launch

Launch of Chandrayaan-2 is scheduled for 14 July 2019 at 21:21 UTC. A successful landing would make India the 4th country to achieve a soft landing on the Moon, after the space agencies of the USSR, USA and China. If successful, Chandrayaan-2 will be the First ever mission to soft land near the lunar south pole. It will be the farthest landing from moon equator in the history of moon landings. It lost the opportunity to become first mission to soft land in the far side of the moon, by few months, after the Chang'e 4, a Chinese spacecraft, which landed in that region on 3 January 2019. But, still it will be a major achievement, as India will become only county to land on the farside of the moon, on first soft landing attempt on moon.

hope it helps...
