The Rajputs were the great and very powerful rulers they were from Rajasthan

Rajputs are found in the states of Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, etc mostly.
Population of rajputs in Uttar Pradesh is 1.5 crore and in Rajasthan that is about 60 lakhs only.
over all India their population is about 7 crore which is the 5% of total population of India.
Rajasthan was that state who was never under ruled against The Mughals or the Britishers.
while the Rajputs of other states were shaked hand with the Mughals and the Britishers.
