It was focused on an understanding that decolonized nations have a common connexion and can become strong forces by merging them. - In certain conditions, NAM allowed these countries to maintain their economic interests. The US arose as a strong country from the very beginning. NAM has tremendous ability and expertise in preventing US domination of countries such as Iraq and Afghanistan. NAM is focused on an international community commitment to democratise. It offers a systemic solution to counter structural inequality.
- It can also be inferred that the importance of NAM was not lost. It has been tested for adverse effects. It has played a crucial role to safeguard and preserve "third world nations"
