Well according to me these are some qualities that the elected members should have:

➡ Honesty :
Honesty comes first, at least in politics. Corruption is a major problem in our country and most of the times elected representatives are involved in such activities.

➡ Leadership:
Obviously if a person wants to get elected he/she should be a really good leader. Afterall he/she will be representing the entire nation.

➡ The ability to understand people's problems:
Some times political leaders fail to understand people's basic problems and they end up making bad decisions.

➡ The desire to serve the nation:
Some political parties are only motivated to be in power. They do not wish to serve the country. So I feel the elected leaders should have that desire to serve the people, the nation.

We really need good political leaders if we really wish to improve our nation.
