yes but it is not useful when people start to talk and argue but it useful when one have doubt and another help him to solve it this will increase their brain skill and also enhance their friendship

Depends upon the surrounding, environment and people you are studying with if they are serious about studies so group study can be if they are not serious people you can't simple as that.
