1) Its complicated, but killing people is not a good thing. Though he only want is peace in univeese. But his way of doing it is wrong.

2) My favourite avenger is thor

Thanos was both bad and good his thoughts was good but he chose the bad way to complete his task. He only wanted to see everyone happy but he decided to kill half of the world for happiness.

So we can say he was bad and somewhat good also.

Iron man is my favourite avenger.
