It is indeed very important.

If you remember nicely the first battle of panipat took place in 1526 in which Babur was battling Ibrahim Lodi. He won the battle and established the mughal empire.

So the first battle of panipat was very important as it started all the mughal empire.

Coming to the second battle.

This time it was Akbar fighting against Hemu. Now if someone asks 2 problems with Humayun’s time. They are obviously Sher Shah Suri and Hemu. Sher Shah Suri even defending Humayun. This time it was a not even a teenage Akbar against Hemu and Hemu was easily winning this one. Suddenly an unaimed arrow strum Hemu’s eye. Akbar took advantage of it and killled Hemu.

So second battle was even more important as Hemu could have ended the mughal empire and Akbar would not have the 49 year reign.

The third battle didn't effect mughal empire as it was after the death of Aurangzeb and everything after Aurangzeb was just disaster for the mughals.

As you can see Babur won the first battle of Panipat against Ibrahim Lodhi and founded Mughal empire and conquered his desired Hindustan.

Akbar also won the second battle of panipat against Hemu raja with the help of Bairam Khan.

I hope it helps!✨
