• The basis of this division are geographical events such as volcanic eruption and earthquakes.The geologic events or actions themselves are the foundation of scientists who separate the lithosphere of the planet into several plates.
• Earth's lithosphere into several segments called plates is the distribution of earthquakes epicenters, location of volcanoes, and formation of mountains ranges.
• All of this geological features that are formed because of the plate movement.Majority of them are situated along plate boundaries.
• Earthquakes epicenters are situated in all areas with active volcanoes and mountains ranges but , nit all areas with earthquakes epicenter have mountain ranges and active volcanoes.
• For examples, when the two plates bump each other or collides , it creates a high form of land like mountain range or other high types of land. It merges to create another form of land.
