as a student the importance of biotechnology is very very high , why? because it helps you to learn more about your environment and surroundings it helps you to identify more and more things a lot better than before, it may not help you in the course that you are planning to take someday but it helps you to build something ideas come into your mind easily because you're studying biotechnology.
