Social Sciences are the branch of study which deals with the science of society. Not particularly about the society, but it include all other aspect of Society like Politics, economics, Civics etc.
The reason for emergence of disciplines in Social Sciences are :-
- Renaissance- The disciplines like Sociology emerged due to the challenges posed by Modernity in the 18th Century. Renaissance is the reason why these are came into picture and became a separate field to be studied.
- Transformation of Society- With the passage of time, Society need to be evolved in other aspects than Science based knowledge. This shift requires the arrival of new subjects into existence.
- New discoveries- The Social science as a separate body of knowledge came into picture as new discoveries apart from natural Sciences is taking place in the society and human existence wanted to study them thoroughly.
Thus, these where the main reasons for emergence of disciplines in Social sciences.
