Every human being is supposed to posses some fundamental Rights from the very birth. These rights are supposed to be necessary for the personality and development of a human being.
In the same category we must have the right to vote to exercise our choice of choosing our political leaders.
Just imagine the days when right to vote was not available to all. The women were the last to get the suffrage.
Sometimes we have the example of one vote deciding the fate.

Voting in a nation allows people to participate in their government. People have the opportunity to vote for what they believe in.Voting also holds representatives accountable for the decisions they make while in office. Most representatives in Rome and all representatives in the India, for example, did/do not serve for life terms. Instead, they serve for a certain amount of time depending on their position. Therefore, if a representative wants to run for another term, he/she must act in the best interest of the people in order to have their support in a future election. If the citizens are pleased with what the representative has to offer, they will reelect him/her. On the other hand, if a representative, such as the president, does not satisfy the needs of the people, the people will not vote for him/her for a second term. The final reason as to why Right To Vote is important is because it prevents a minority from dictating the policies of a majority.55 ViewsDownvote Aroon SharmaAroon Sharma, works at Self-EmploymentAnswered Jan 20yes, it is important. how else would we ( adults ) vote a government/authority of our choice to office at the municipal/state/centre level. how else would the loser in a election know that he or she is not wanted and has to offer something better ? how else the winner know that he or she has been voted but for a specific period and must be on his or her toes ? how else would we define people’s democracy ?

thanks
