Chameleons actually do not have wobbly eyes but it looks like they have wobbly eyes because their eyes do not have eyelids. Their eyes are in a conical shape and hence look as if they are wobbly, while in reality, they are not. As there are no eyelids, there is more space for movement of the eyeballs. They can rotate their eyes at an angle of 360 degrees doing so, camouflaging themselves. This helps them to 'catch their prey' easily.
