In my opinion, yes it should be allowed. Love is Love! People have the right to love those who they want to. It's allowed in many places but some countries still consider it a big sin! I hope within a few years, the world will change and fully accept people for who they want to love! Many people today are suffering because they are afraid of saying who they actually are to the world.
