What do you think the poem says about friendship in the poem the duck and the kangaroo?

The poem 'The duck and the kangaroo' describes the true friendship which is selfless and polite. On one side, the Duck wanted to travel the world but without legs, she cannot travel. The Kangaroo had legs but he has fear of bad luck in his mind.
