The poet in ‘Where The Mind Is Without Feardreams of an egalitarian society. He dreams of a land where people have the freedom to think, where people are neither narrow minded nor afraid of anything. He vividly portrays his dream of a beautiful world, where people are not separated by narrow domestic walls. He contemplates for a world where the minds are free from any fear leading to a complete development of one’s individuality. In this imaginary world, people are afraid to extend their arms towards perfection. People here are neither narrow-minded, nor superstitious. Whatever they utter are nothing but true. The poet here wants his country to become just like this wonderful world of his dreams.
