If we don't respect our mother nature and the things that it offers us then we would end up running out of food and shelter in the future. So we must not become irresponsible and careless.

If we do not respect nature and all that it gives us then nature will teach us a lesson.

EXPLANATION:

If we do not respect nature and everything that it does for us, nature will never forgive us. The more we exploit and destroy nature, the more it will take revenge on us. Nature has already been harmed to the brink, and man’s ever increasing greed has made it so angry that now we can see the consequences.  

Tsunamis, earthquakes, ozone depletion and global warming are all ways in which nature is teaching us a lesson to not exploit and disrespect it.
