What do you think will happen if we make a conducting wire in which plastic is covered by copper???

The flow of electron will take place as usual but as plastic is a bad conductor of electricity it will cut the direct contact of object with the copper wire.

In such a case, electricity will be conducted because of the copper, if copper is touching the cell. This is because as we all know, copper conducts electricity and plastic doesn't. So, electricity will be conducted because of the copper, if copper is touching the cell and not by the plastic in any case. Thanks!
