What do you think would be the observation of alpha particle scattering experiment if carried out on (i) heavy nucleus like platinum (ii) light nuclei like lithium

If the observation is taken by heavy metal like gold e.g. Platinium silver than the observation would be same but if it would be taken by light metal like lithium than the massive alpha particles will push the nucleus and may not be deflected back

If a foil of a heavy metal like platinum is used, then the observations in the alpha-particle scattering experiment would be the same as that in the gold foil experiment
