extinct refers to animals that are no longer alive (all over the earth) like ... dianosaurs...
endangered refers to animals in the danger of getting extinct from the world...

Extinct:The species which are already vanished from the earth
Example:Dinosaurs,Dodo,Mammoths etc

Endangered :The species which may be vanished if we won't protect them
Example:Tigers,Lions,Single horned rhinoceros etc

Endemic :The present spices which are present on the earth
Example:Deers,Monkeys etc
