\bf{\underline{ Binomial\: Nomenclature}}

It is a naming system (scientific names) given to a species by using two terms in which first is its genus name and the other is it's species name.

\textbf{\underline{More\: about\: binomial\: Nomenclature}}

Carolus Linnaeus used Latin while giving scientific names to plant. In fact, he was so commited using Latin that he changed his original name from " Carl linnal " to " Carolus Linnaeus . The reason behind using Latin was that it being a dead language, it won't change over the course of time and lead to confusion in names.

\textbf{how to write name of organisms in the system?}

follow the given steps :-

★ Start Genus name with Capital letter.

★ Start species name with small letters.

★ Use Italics to indicate Latin origin or underline Genus name and the species name seperately.

★ Followed by the person who described the species, so use brackets to indicate the person as it is Deviated from normal standard.

\textbf{Example :-}

(1) \underline{\textit{Homo}} \underline{\textit{sapiens}}

(2) \underline{\textit{Labeo}} \underline{\textit{rohita}}
